I need a new home for my 2 staffies. When had them I was fit and healthy but my health has gone downhill and now I am registered disabled I cant manage them, especially as my husband works full time. I have put an ad in preloved and pets 4 homes but wondered how else or where else I could advertise. Please don't post any nasty comments as I will be so upset when they go but all I want for them is to go to a loving home where they can have the love and attention they need. I stupidly sent a payment of £120 to a woman that was selling me a telephone through a second hand site called preloved. I thought I was covered through paypal. However, the woman has not sent the item and the funds have just left my account and she is not answering any of my emails. Someone today just told me that paypal will only insure the sale if it is done through ebay. For private sales they will only be able to get the money back if the seller has funds in their paypal account but if they havent then looks like I will lose it. Im gutted as this was all I could afford for my sons xmas present and I feel really stupid now....and gutted that my son has nothing to open on xmas due to my stupidity. Im so upset. I've been thinking about getting a couple of male ferrets (I've done research) but now I've found out that people also keep descended skunks as pets as well! So I looked them up and they seem more interesting and unusual! Skunks are really hard to get hold of though and quite expensive (they also have quite a complicated diet, but I've been researching that too) so does anyone know where I can get one? Also, I've looked on websites such as Freeads, Gumtree and Preloved, but they are either too expensive or too far away (I live in Bedfordshire, England). So if anyone knows of anywhere I can get a skunk (if not, ferrets) from, then please let me know! In addition, if anyone knows any info on skunks or ferrets, that would be great too! Resolved Question: rover starting and electric problem?
I recently changed the engine in my rover and it wont start.i cannot get a spark.i have replaced the ht leads,crank sensor,ignition coil,dis cap and rotor but still no spark.My electric windows,sunroof,rear wiper and radio also do not work.i have checked all fuses including under the bonnet and all seem fine.I was wondering if all these symtoms were all connected in some way? any ideas would be appreciated. its a rover 214 si 1997 16 valve I have tryed on google and just go round in circles i have also looked on preloved for more information.i keep saying to my self i must have missed something but what? I visually looked at the wiring and all looked ok but i am now sure that i am not getting any power to the satalite fuse box?it would explain the windows and no start. The battery is charged and all other electrics work i think i might go and buy a multimeter.The only thing thats changed on the car is the engine the same wires,fuel injection,sensors are all the same so i cant see it being the ecu but that will probley be the last thing i check.
