I Have a digital camera that I want to sell BUT it has a VERY intermittent fault on it. The live view sometimes does not zoom when you press zoom. BUT It can go weeks and months without doing this even once. (Technology is so weired) But the camera is still way too good just to bin, I have owned it from new and it has never been clashed about or badly treated (I must have just got a Monday morning one) It is 18 Months old so it is out of warranty. I have been selling on eBay for many years and until fairly recently was quite happy to play by their rules. However, recent changes with things such as payment options, feedback policy, postage options and dispute process have become very one-sided in favour of buyers. I have seen a massive increase in buyers knowing there is little I can do to counter them messing me around. It seems I'm not alone with my opinion. Other sellers appear to be moving on and I want to take my business elsewhere too but where is everyone moving on to? I would like to move on to auctions with a far more balanced, fair and level playing field but I don't know of any online auction sites on the internet that are as popular as eBay or even come close in terms of popularity. Does anyone on Yahoo! Answers know of a great alternative to eBay?

Funny thing is, it failed the MOT, and then it went through the same MOT garage and passed the next day o.0 So whats the best way of treating and preventing rust? I buy and sell stuff on online auctions, and up to now have only had one or two things go missing in the mail over a period of several years. BUT, over the last 2 months I have had 3 items sent to me that have still not arrived after several weeks. I have posted 5 items to mainland europe that have went missing. As a matter of fact, the Royal Mail's own website tell me that the items are still 'being processed for shipment abroad'. At least 3 weeks after posting and these items still have not left UK yet..??????????? Furthermore, the royal mail tell me that in instances of international post going astray I have to wait 3 weeks before putting in a claim that can then take a further 4 MONTHS(!!!!) for compensation to be issued.!! I have had enough of this mickey mouse run company. I am now looking elsewhere for to use for my post. I would advise others to do the same.
