Open Question: Can anyone give me tips/suggestions how to get intrest in my house?
My 1 bedroom flat has been on the Market now for 2 weeks with no calls for aviewing yet. So far it's on ASPC and gumtree. The flat is in Aberdeen, and people said at the start flats are selling within 1-2 weeks. But I've not even had a viewing. I'm really asking If anyone has suggestions that I can do to try get intrest, or if anyone knows any free/cheap advertising I can use? Hi, I have been meaning to move to London for a while now and found a nice houseshare on gumtree just over a month ago. I met with the landlord and liked the place so I signed up for a 6 month tennancy agreement with them and put down my deposit. I moved in on the 25th January and my second months payment has been taken out today. However I have just recieved a phone call saying that the landlord is selling the property and so they are giving me my months notice to move out. Shellshocked, I decided to check the contract before argueing back too much, so I am basically just trying to find out what my rights are here and what I should do? This puts me in an frustrating position as in a months time I will be in my first week of my new graduate job as an estate agent and will be working up to 12 hour days and up to 6 days a week and won't have time to find a place and move furniture across London. I have also just set up an account with virgin to have an Internet connection in the house, and even if I cancel I will lose my 35 pound deposit. Furthermore I have signed up to a 3 month 55/month gym membership down the road that if I move away would be completely impracticle. Please can someone tell me what my rights are in this situation, and whether i could instead of insisting I stay in an empty house for 4 months alone, I try to get compensation for my losses from the land lord and possibly half of this months rent back as staying until the end of the month would only be ab added hassle. Any feedback is much appreciated.

I have had enough of ebay & paypal, there fees are now just way too ridiculous, i have just sold an item for £280, and will be left with around £230 after final value fee of £28, paypal fee of £12, postage £10!!! - (im thinking of refunding the buyer) sorry cant give it away now can i? And all this after i sold the item for £320 2 months before & the buyer has it for over a month & returned it saying its faulty, i declined it & paypal agreed in his favour - he got all his money back & i lost out on p&p=£10 & now the damm item has gone down in price & the fact that when i got it back there was nothing wrong with it - what kind of company does this - think twice before you sell on ebay - why make them money for nothing & then let them abuse us like this!! I (stupidly) advertised a camera on gumtree, agreed to sell it to someone, they asked if I do paypal, I said yes, requested her payment on paypal, it says pending, sent the item to NIGERIA (yes I know it sounds ridiculous now) after seeing emails via my phone saying payments received, emailed the tracking details to a non paypal-looking email account, only to see when I got home that the emails said from service@paypal.com on my hpone but had a different email in brackets when I looked on my computer and the graphics, grammar and font were all wrong and I sent details of the tracking for the iem to a non paypal address (as I thought I was being requested to do so from a paypal address). And I thought that was the end of it....now they want me to scan the shipping information and send it to them.
