Open Question: I was just scammed and what can I do to get my money back?
My husband had me looking on craigslist for a SUV for sale. I found a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for $2700. I contacted the address on the craigslist page and a day later a Diane Lewis contacted me. She claimed that she recently moved to London, UK and the vehicle would cost to much to ship to her and register. She sent me the VIN number of the vehicle and everything. She also told me that she would have eBay be a third party to the sale. They would get the money and hold it until 5 days after I receive the vehicle while I inspect it and decide whether or not I wanted to keep it. If I did then she would then receive the money from eBay and we'd be done. If not then eBay would refund my money no questions asked and she would have to pay for shipping the vehicle somewhere else. My husband said go for it because we thought eBay would be part of it and we would be safe...WRONG....I did get an email from a so called eBay agent named David Rivera, with the contract papers that had eBay stuff all over it and instructions as how to pay for the vehicle. A few days later after not receiving a tracking number I called eBay themselves and they stated that I had been scammed. I filed a police report and called Money-Gram and was told without a subpoena they can't give any information other then the person had already picked up the money. I also emailed the FBI but the Sheriff's Dept by my house said that everyone is so backed up that basically there is nothing anyone can do. Who can help me get my money back. I have 3 kids and I was just laid off from my job and my car is falling apart, so I desperately need my money back. What else can I do? I have every email still that was sent back and forth. I didn't pay with a credit card. I sent cash through MoneyGram which is the other Western Union.

Okay I've came out to my mom and a few other family members. It's been about 8 months since. I've definitely become more comfortable with who I am in those months. I will say those were the hardest 8 months of my life in my life so far. I'm 19 and I want to move on to the next step. I don't want to wait until I'm too old to experience life being gay. I will be going to a community college this March (I can't wait!). I don't know what to do now. Ever since I graduated HS I haven't had any friends (no gay friends at that). So what's the next step? Resolved Question: Mini Dell Laptop - "Operating System Not Found"?
Like a previous question from a Yahooer last year, I too received this message - "For Realtek RTC8101E18102E PCI-E ethernet controller V1.08 (080408) PXE-E61:Media test failure. check cable PXE-M0F:Existing PXE Rom Operating system not found" At purchase, I was provided with Reinstallation CDs, but as noted in previous question, there is no CD Drive or cables. I tried the reinstallation cd on my desktop just to see if any instruction on how to do repair/restore to Mini... HA! It just wanted to repair/restore my desktop. I would just chuck this piece of crap and go with the more reliable MAC, but STUPID ME had transferred all my documents and 10 year ongoing journal from my 10 year old desktop to the Mini, because, well, my desktop was old and I thought it's system would go out soon...placing all documents/journal was safe going with the "younger" model... HA! I called Best Buy Geek Squad to see what it would cost just to retrieve (if possible) my documents BEFORE repair/restore done? They advised it would cost me $139 - $169 just to retrieve and copy to cd...YIKES!!! Thats just to retrieve, not for them to repair/restore...it could cost an additional $300+ for that! Is there ANYWAY for me to do myself? Is there ANY hope that documents are still there? So I thought this would be perfect and we made an agreement. I think it was the 29th of August I actually moved in. Jamie (my roommate) was living there for the last 3 months and his other roommate had to leave, and couldn't afford a 2 bedroom by himself. We got along from the start real well, Before I moved from the US I wasn't expecting anything at all. He showed me around Vancouver, its actually quite pretty here. I thought he was at least 24 or 25, until we were talking about work and then said he starts school in September and I asked what courses, and then laughed and said I'm in High school;WHICH is when I discovered he was 16. I was actually VERY impressed and couldn't believe he was only 16, but the reason he lives independently is because his father was an alcoholic who he lived with, and his mother was a religious fanatic who turned into a drug addict. He goes to school until 3, goes to the gym everyday, and then straight to his work at a warehouse until 11pm making $13 an hour and comes back home exhausted, pays his own rent and food,and then works again full time on Saturday from Noon and part time on Sunday so I have so much respect for him, and I really do think he's amazing. He resents his parents and does not talk to them, they do not support him in anyway either.
