hi,, so i bought a car a few days ago off ebay. which was listed as ''comes with 12 month MOT so mechanically sound'' i insured it the next day and when i went to tax it online it clearly stated NO MOT! i then checked through all papers that came with the car and i could not find MOT certificate. i thought the guy must have just forgot to include it so i checked online which also said NO MOT. i contacted the guy who said he had sold it for his ex girlfriend and could not get in touch with her. i then asked him to pay for mot or refund me and take car back. he said he would pay for mot if i told him how much it was. i put car in for mot and it failed on a few things which add up to over £200. i told him this and have had no reply to any messages. im assuming he thought it would be a cheap fix. i only bought car because it had full mot and cant afford to pay for it to be fixed. is there any way i can claim money for MOT (which cost £45) plus the cost of car or claim the money it will cost to fix. i would prefer if there was a way just to claim the money for cost to fix as i will be out of pocket with paying insurance thanks in advance for any help thanks you guys. and jzd im looking into making a claim now thankyou very much you gave me a big push!!! xx

Resolved Question: How do I find out how much the sliver egg cups are?
Today I was at a table top sale, when this lined gift box caught my eye. In side was also lined with six sliver egg cups. They all had a marker of EPNS. The guy wanted £6 for the set and I managed to knock him down to £3.50. I am quitet sure they are wouth much more then £3.50. How do I find out the true value? I also had a lot on ebay and they don't seem to have any egg cup sets like the one I have. I saw a few items with the Epns markers going for over £20. Any ideas where I could find out more. Hi I bought a product off ebay and the details said that the product would be sent by 1st class post and the maximum time that I would have it by would be 4-5 days, however it still hasnt come yet and I need it for tomorrow as well ! I emailed the seller to ask when they had posted it so I can have an idea for when it should arrive but they havent replied. Open Question: Putting a US keyboard on a UK netbook?
I have a Samsung NC10, and a little while I 'shared' my wine with it. It's not enjoying the hangover, and my keyboard hasn't worked since. I'm looking on eBay at new keyboards, and the US ones are noticeably cheaper than UK. They have a slightly different layout, though. The US has a horixontal enter key, while the UK has a vertical and an extra key with #~ on it (# being where the £ sign is on a US keyboard). If I put a US keyboard on the net book but keep the settings on UK, will it work alright? Or is it going to screw up every time I hit enter? Ideally I want to keep it set to UK, as I touch type, and I have another computer that's still UK. The question is whether keeping it set to UK when some of the keys are different shapes and sizes will still work?

So I've been a lover of peanut butter ever since I tried my first PB&J sandwich while in the States last summer. Anyway, I had wanted to try Reese's peanut butter cups for ages, and finally decided to buy some from eBay. I ended up buying 24 packs (cheaper in bulk and what not), and told myself I'd make them last for the summer. But this morning, I ate about 20 of them (about 9 packs) after breakfast. The strange thing was, they didn't fill me up at all, and I only felt slightly sick afterwards. As a child I was overweight, but as I stand today, I'm always being told I'm underweight. To be honest, I am really skinny now with very little body fat. I've been trying to gain weight. I know this isn't a healthy way of doing it, but I'm just worried that the remaining ones sitting in my drawer won't last very long. Should I just dump them?
